Overview
「OPPOSITE」は、Don Toliver（本名：Caleb Zackery Toliver）の5枚目のスタジオアルバム『OCTANE』の15曲目に収録されたソロトラック。アルバムはDonnway & CoおよびCactus Jackを通じてAtlantic Recordsからライセンス配給され、2026年1月30日にリリースされた。本曲のプロデューサーはSkipOnDaBeat、Rio Leyva。
タイトル「OPPOSITE（正反対）」は、噛み合わなくても離れられない相手との関係性、かつていた場所と今いる場所のギャップ、ストリートの美学とラグジュアリーの並置を軸に据えている。全編を通じてToliver特有の酩酊感のある声と、アルバム全体のキーワード「octane（オクタン）」が燃料・ドリンク・エネルギーの象徴として多層的に機能している。本曲を含む『OCTANE』はBillboard 200で初週162,000ユニットを売り上げ初登場1位を獲得し、Toliver にとってBillboard 200での初の1位獲得アルバムとなった。
